Hello Everybody!
First of all thank you for your AMAZING donations to Give Kids the World Village, as of right now it looks like I will be able to not only donate a weeks worth of my time to the Village but will be able to donate almost $1,000 as well!! I am planning on sending in the donations by the beginning of August, I am still waiting on some last minute donations and straightening out travel expenses.
Some quick details on my trip, my friend Nicole will be going down to volunteer with me, I met Nicole this past May at the Child life Conference and her and I hit it off immediately. We both felt, after a weekend of hanging out together, like we had known each other for years. Needless to say Nicole and I are both getting extremely excited to not only get to hangout again but do what we love best, spending time with kids. I will be arriving in Orlando on August16th and staying until the 23rd. We have two shifts a day at the Village and will most likely get to go to 1 or 2 Disney parks while we are down there too. While at the Village Nicole and I will be spending time helping out at the La Ti Da Spa, Putt Putt, the village's castle and carousel, the pool, a Halloween party, Ice Cream Palace, and at a Kids Night Out event.
